The 8504D Digital Shock, Tilt, and Temperature Sensor is an add-on security sensor designed for DS4 and DS4+ systems. It adds an extra layer of protection by detecting impacts and vibrations, sensing vehicle tilt (such as during jacking or tow attempts), and monitoring temperature to support automatic remote start when conditions are too hot or too cold. It connects via D2D 2.0 for a clean, integrated install and can be tuned to match the vehicle and customer sensitivity preferences.
