Basic Setup and Installation
Micro SD Card: Insert a micro SD card (included) into the slot before powering the unit.
Mounting: Attach the suction cup mount near the top of the windshield, hidden from the direct view of the driver.
Power Connection: Plug the provided 11-foot charging cable into the dash cam and route it to your vehicle's DC (cigarette lighter) socket.
Core Operation
Power Control: Long-press the power button for about 3 seconds to turn the device on or off. It will also power on/off automatically if tied to an ignition-switched DC outlet.
Recording: The unit automatically enters video record mode upon receiving power, using loop recording to overwrite old files.
Sensor and Mode Calibration
G-Sensor: Set this to Low or Medium sensitivity. High sensitivity can cause normal bumps or potholes to lock files, quickly filling your 16 GB card with un-deletable data.
Parking Mode / Motion Detection: This feature requires constant power. If your vehicle's cigarette lighter turns off with the key, you will need a separate hardwired kit connected to a constant 12V fuse to use parking mode
