The Absolute USA TQ-654 6.5" Speaker and SQ6.5PKB Enclosure Package provides a simple way to add a pair of full-range speakers to a wide variety of custom audio installations.
Instead of requiring an existing door, dashboard, or rear-deck speaker location, the included SQ6.5PKB square speaker boxes allow the TQ-654 speakers to be installed as individual enclosed loudspeakers in a suitable location.
Each TQ-654 uses a 6.5-inch grey polycarbonate woofer cone with a butyl rubber surround for controlled bass and midrange reproduction. A 1-inch polypropylene dome tweeter plus additional piezo tweeter/midrange components provide detailed upper-frequency reproduction, while an integrated crossover helps distribute frequencies between the speaker components.
The speakers feature 1-inch high-temperature aluminum voice coils, 30 oz magnet structures, 4-ohm impedance, and 92 dB sensitivity for efficient performance with compatible audio systems.
The included two square 6.5-inch empty enclosures feature a black carpet finish and are designed to house compatible 6.5-inch speakers. Together, the speakers and boxes provide a convenient package for custom installations where standalone speaker enclosures are preferred.
