At the heart of the PSS1000 is a high-efficiency 10-inch woofer featuring a 40 oz ferrite magnet and 1-inch Kapton voice coil. This heavy-duty low-frequency driver works together with a high-frequency compression driver and constant-directivity horn to deliver balanced sound with powerful lows, clear midrange frequencies, crisp vocals, and detailed highs.
The PSS1000 features a built-in passive crossover that properly distributes frequencies between the woofer and high-frequency driver, while an integrated overload protection circuit helps protect the speaker components during demanding applications.
Its rugged MDF enclosure is internally braced for improved cabinet strength and covered in durable black carpet for additional protection during transportation and everyday professional use.
