The magnet motor structure is new and designed with a backplate and pole piece forged from a single massive block of low-carbon steel—a great replacement woofer for many subwoofer cabinets or projects. An extended pole piece beyond the front plate improves magnetic linearity and voice coil cooling. Compare these with other raw subs; you can see a clear difference in power and sound quality.
