Metra 95-6557B Dash Kit
This mounting kit lets you install a double-DIN (4" tall) aftermarket stereo in your vehicle's dash opening. The kit's painted matte black finish is scratch-resistant and matches your factory dash.
This dash kit fits the Industry STANDARD sized Double DIN Radios ONLY. Off brand radios and cheap stuff from China may not fit. CHECK the Manufacturers Specifications of the radio chassis and face size to assure fitment with this kit.
Note: Installation of a new radio using the 95-6557B kit requires cutting the factory radio trim panel and sub-dash. The factory radio cannot be reinstalled
All Jeep, Dodge, Chrysler, Ram, GM, VW, and Mercedes vehicles since 2000 and ford vehicles since 2004 require a switched power wire run from the fuse box for the new radio to turn on and off because the factory radio turns on and off with data, there is no switched power in the original stereo harness.
Note: Installation of a new radio using the 95-6557B kit requires cutting the factory radio trim panel and sub-dash. The factory radio cannot be reinstalled.
