Reinforced carbon fiber polymer cones
These 2xR-S69.2 6"x9" speakers feature a carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) woofer cone that satisfies a hankering for strong bass response. A deluxe surround allows extended cone movement for high-impact sound as well as resilience in the face of harsh conditions. And the extended frequency range of the R-Series CFRP tweeter lets you savor all the rich detail of your high-resolution music files.
Handles up to 100 watts
Alpine has designed these speakers to work perfectly with your car stereo, but they'll really come into their own when you power them with an outboard amp. Power handling up to 100 watts RMS ensures you can get big, dynamic sound and plenty of volume out of these sturdy speakers. For loud and realistic-sounding music
Into Hi-Res music? Alpine's R-Series R-A60F amplifier reproduces high-frequency sounds up to 45,000 Hz, so you can enjoy the clean sound and enhanced realism you want in your music. Alpine applied some hot technology from their top-of-the-line X-Series amplifiers into this R-Series amp, including the use of high-efficiency transformers and premium custom capacitors in the amp's construction. Dual "Sierra" feedback circuitry decreases distortion by correcting the output using the original input signal. Even if you're playing CDs and standard-resolution music files, you can count on superior sound quality from this compact amp.
How much power?
The R-A60F 4-channel amp puts out 100 watts RMS per channel, perfectly matching the power ratings of Alpine's R-Series speakers. You can also use this versatile amp in 3-channel mode, driving a pair of speakers with the front channels, and bridging the rear channels to send up to 300 watts RMS to your sub. Advance Class D amp technology allows this amp to be built so small it'll fit in almost any of the tiny spaces available in many cars and trucks these days.
Tone control for all configurations
You can use the high-pass filters to remove the extreme low bass from your full-range speakers, so they'll play more efficiently. If you plan on running subwoofers with your R-A60F, you can adjust the low-pass filters to get just the right bass tone. Best of all, you can set up the filters for bandpass operation, so you can use this amp to power tweeters and midrange drivers, and use a separate amp, like the matching Alpine R-A75M, to power your sub.
