The Actuator Responds to Electrical Signals from the Alarm or Keyless Entry System and Physically Moves the Vehicle's Door Locking Rod to a Locked or Unlocked Position. Absolute Power Door Lock Actuator Features a Clutch Drive System That Provides Super-Smooth Operation Without Adding Tension to the Manually Driven Door Lock Lever
this System is Quite Simple. A Small Electric Motor Turns a Series of Spur Gears That Serve as a Gear Reduction. The Last Gear Drives a Rack-and-pinion Gear Set That Is Connected to the Actuator Rod. The Rack Converts the Rotational Motion of the Motor into the Linear Motion Needed to Move the Lock.
