All hardware Shown in the Picture is Included in the Purchase. This actuator will work to add power Locks and unlock features to a vehicle without power locks, which are usually used when installing alarms or keyless entry systems. The Actuator Responds to Electrical Signals from the Alarm or Keyless Entry System and Physically Moves the Vehicle's Door Locking Rod to a Locked or Unlocked Position. Absolute Power Door Lock Actuator Features a Clutch Drive System That Provides Super-Smooth Operation Without Adding Tension to the Manually Driven Door Lock Lever
This system is Quite Simple. A Small Electric Motor Turns a Series of Spur Gears That Serve as a Gear Reduction. The Last Gear Drives a Rack-and-pinion Gear Set connected to the Actuator Rod. The Rack Converts the motor's Rotational Motion into the linear motion needed to Move the Lock.
