Keep your factory chimes and other features
Installing an aftermarket receiver in many older GM vehicles means losing the chime that warns the door is open, along with other handy factory features. Axxess' AXDI-GLMLN29 wiring interface lets you replace the factory receiver in these vehicles and keep your audible safety warnings along with your balance and fade controls and retained accessory power (R.A.P.). If you have a factory amplifier, this interface lets you keep that as well. Wire up the AXDI-GLMLN29 to your aftermarket radio, mount the module in a location where the chime can be heard, and plug it into the existing factory plug.
